Deputies Viktor Guzun and Vadim Kravchuk proposed to equalize the benefits of pensioners regardless of which state they receive their pension. Currently, old-age pensioners who are citizens of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic have a residence permit or registration at the place of residence for a period of one year or more on the territory of our republic, but receive a pension from a foreign state, enjoy all the benefits of pensioners who receive a pension in the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. The only exceptions are the benefits provided by the law "On payment for land". According to the authors of the initiative, this circumstance does not fully comply with the principle of social justice.
The deputies proposed to ensure the right to receive benefits within the framework of the law "On payment for land" for all citizens of the PMR of retirement age, regardless of the legislation according to which they are recipients of pensions, subject to the availability of a residence permit or registration at the place of residence for a period of one year or more.
The Agro-Industrial Complex Committee supported this initiative and will recommend the Supreme Council to adopt the law-in-draft in the first reading. Work on the document will continue taking into account the proposals and comments that were received during the discussion.
