Medicines and other goods that are sold in pharmacies can now be remotely ordered and received with home delivery. It is proposed to supplement the law "On pharmaceutical activity in PMR" with such a norm. The legislative initiative was presented by the Minister of Health in the course of the meeting of the Committee on Social Policy.
The legislative initiative, as they say, was born from below. This was primarily due to the pandemic and related quarantine measures. Pharmaceutical organizations have already begun to provide this service and are selling drugs remotely. Volunteers who help the elderly by purchasing the necessary medicines for them have joined. Deputies of the relevant committee agree that the ability to sell drugs remotely must be enshrined in the law.
The procedure for selling medicines remotely, as well as the rules for delivering medicines to citizens will be developed by the Health Ministry. The committee approved the proposed law-in-draft and will recommend the Supreme Council to adopt it at the next plenary meeting in two readings at once.
